Round 3 – LODDON RIVER BRIDGEWATER
The super series is a catch and release competition, fish are to bephotographed by digital camera on a brag mat and released. Lure fishing only. All welcome.
When – Saturday 16TH March 2013
Where – Everyone must report to the registration station located at privateproperty next to the Public boat ramp on the Bridgewater-Newbridge road. Followlink - http://goo.gl/maps/mhtjr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Signs will be on the Bridgy-Newbridge road from 6pm Friday.
Cost - $12 per person. CVLCSS is anon-profit competition, $10 of every registration is used as cash prizes on theday. $2 of every registration covers the cost of BBQ and other expenses to runthe overall series.
Registration - Registrationstrictly between 6.30am – 7am only.
Fishing starts at 7am till 12pm. Competitors maylaunch boats after registration but not start fishing until 7am. Report catchesbetween 1pm and 1.30pm back at the Rego Station.
Camping – Free campingis permitted near the rego station on the private property FRIDAY NIGHTONLY.
Boat launching – There is 4wd dirt ramps at camp ground or a concreteramp public ramp.
Fishing Area - Above Bridgewater Weir – upstream as far as you can boat.
Prizes – The round winner will take home 30% of the cash taken for the day ($10per registration) and a prize board. Runner up to the round winner will also receivea prize board. Third place will also receive a prize.
The “BIG NATIVEPRIZE”(Biggest Murray Cod) will take the remaining 70% of prize money.
Lucky prizes drawn from catch tokens returned at theend of the day. All junior competitorswill receive encouragement prizes.
How to score – Murray Cod = 1 point per Centimeter plus 10 bonuspoints for landing the target species, Golden Perch = 1 point per centimeter –must be released
Redfin, Trout and Carp – flat 10 points per fish (max 5 perperson per round) – can be kept. All fish must be digitally photographed on brag matwith supplied catch token to be eligible.
