Lake Mulwala Drawdown

Post by mazman » Tue May 31, 2022 5:32 pm

Hey guys,

Haven't really been posting my vids here lately but thought this would interest people since it's not a regular occurrence. Every 4 or so years they drop the level of Lake Mulwala by 3-4m to let the frost kill off some weed and allow them to do maintenance on the wall and foreshore and this year is one of those years, so with the drawdown underway I loaded up the kayak and set off to the lake for a quick overnighter. I ended up launching at a boat ramp that was well and truly out of the water, although this didn't stop guys with small tinnys launching of the mud slope next to it. Anyway I hope you enjoy the video, it was a great trip up there.

Nice work man, looks like a great location to fish and some lovely fish captured.
Bonus free lures are always awesome.
