Lake eldion

Post by barra mick » Tue Jul 21, 2020 5:07 pm

For those that fish eldion.

Fished lake eldion yesterday and this morning.

The trout were feeding very well both days.

No need for anything fancy atm in regards to lures.

I didn't change from a trout rapala for two days.

No need for leadline or down riggers during the afternoons ....fish stayed on top.

Will head back on the week end for another go.

Cheers bm

Welcome back BM,
Good stuff mate
I'm no trout expert, but, I thought they'd be deeper
Did You stay in accomadation or camp ??
Morning's are too cold for me, I'd have to fish arvo & dusk
When things warm up, I might get onto a bloke I know that owns a farm on the Goulburn river
Cheers Gra
