Not much to report.
Went to Nagambie on the yak with couple mates this morning.
Got there 5am at the new boat ramp just before the holiday park.
Started with surface lures and changed to spinnerbait and deep dives. Was casting and trolling til around 10:30am.
Tried many diff lures. Barometer was increasing. Thought it would be a good morning to fish but nothing, nada, nil, zilch. Donut.

Thanks Adrian. Yeah surely. That morning sunrise on the water with the yak was giving me the Zen. Great break from the daily routine.

Good ramp, got pretty crowded real quick. Maybe because it's still school holiday. Few jetski and speed boat etc not just fisho boat.
My suggestion is to get there early.

Bit of bad luck there Seb, there have been some smashing fish caught in the river the last couple of weeks, the problem you may of had in that area that you are in is the huge amount of traffic over xmas/new year has definitely quietened the fishing down there. The Kirwins Bridge end has been fishing well as to further upstream around Michellstown, cheers davo

I was thinking to go to the Kirwan bridge, but wind was predicted to blow 30kmh by 8:30am. That back water open area would be choppy and rough to peddle.
Oh well. There's always next time.
Really keen to have one great cod session on surface this season. And I'll be content.

No doubt it would be busy this time of year.
A place I’ve not been to but thought of going for a look one day.
