Just as a side note, that is one of the local boat ramps, so just be aware that ppl will want to be able to pull up and launch there boat there.
Not generally an issue, but the last time we launched there a cpl of car loads turned up to go fishing and pulled up directly infront of the ramp :dn:

Just something to be aware of :tu:

The ppl that were fishing there as we launched had caught a cpl of reddies and a nice yella, plus a few carp, so it's not a bad spot :gj:

Go to the forum index, choose the one you want, and there's 'new topic' tab button thing.

Lake nagambie near the boat ramp is also good. Or the actual lake, fish from the wooden walkway. I drove and parked near the black caviar statue and just walk about 10-20 metres to the wooden walkway.
Good luck.

main channel in front is about 10m deep, so you can fish drop off edge. Keep that in mind when reeling as if you do it slowly you will be scraping up side of drop off. I have caught plenty fish from kayak in that area, shoulders of the channel are 2-4m and can be productive. There might be tinnies launched from there, but there is plenty of room to not get in the way
