A flick for yellas
I slipped back out to the river tonight mainly to look for my water bottle that I left behind earlier in the week and have a go at getting a yella on a Jackall TN65 I picked up at the Trellys sale Friday night. well the Jackall worked alright but on the wrong species, I hooked a 42cm Murray cod so a quick pic and back it went.
After a few more casts and trying different lures I decided to head back to the channel. A few casts and a small reddie hooked up then a couple more and bang, a 36cm yella on a RMG Scorpion.
After a few more casts I was smashed again and line peeling but the fish got off, further investigation showed a broken treble, time to give up and go home, cheers davo

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

I went out again for a while this arvo and picked up this 47cm yella on a stumpjumper, he previously followed a Jackyll up so I knew he was there. after throwing a myriad of lures at him he finally took the stumpy.

Nice fish Dave, did you find your star bottle? Maybe Jim could look closer to Shepparton if it is in the Goulburn.
