4.5kg Brown Trout.

Post by Master Baiter » Fri Jun 18, 2021 1:10 pm

Read in the local paper this week a local caught a Brown Trout of 4.5KG in Lake Eildon it was in top condition and 70CM long.
If anyone in lock down land based and want to come up to the Lake it is murky but some good Brown Trout are being caught on yellow coloured lures.

(Quote Goulburn-Murray Water Warning) Blue-green algae are very small and are present across the entire lake even when there is no obvious change to the colour of water.
There are certainly areas of Lake Eildon where there are visible signs of blue-green algae, however this does not mean the areas that appear clear are safe).

Always take a good look at what you are about to eat. It’s not so important to know what it is .but it’s critical to know what it was.
