lakes entrance kingfish

howdy all, new member to this site but live local to lakes. been wanting to catch a kingy for a while now and seen recent report of them being about in lakes at the moment. even though I know its a very long shot im keen to give it a go landbased around the Cunningham arm with large plastics and hardbody stick baits.. anyone local have any advice would appreciate any tips, thanks. :)

Anywhere there is structure . Along the jetties, north arm bridge, water park, entrance walls and up past the barrier near the red marker post in front of those private jetties. Hard bodies or a small live salmon. Lots of patience.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
