offshore from lakes again.

Post by ango » Sun Jul 24, 2022 8:12 pm

Finally there was a break in the weather so I took the opportunity to head offshore from Lakes again. With high expectations I crossed the bar at about 8.00 am, it was glassy calm as I headed out towards the reefs. While I caught plenty of fish they were all throwbacks, gurnards, Sargent bakers, barber perch, etc. and some undersize pinkies. All morning I was shadowed by a seal, I could not shake it off, every time I moved it would show up again after a while so it had a good feed of stolen fish. All in all it was a very pleasant morning out, I did not get a feed but there is always next time.
Cheers
Ango.
