Yabbies

Post by Deeks! » Tue Apr 26, 2022 11:51 am

Hey all. Heading up to Tambo for the yearly bream session this coming weekend and wondered if anyone can share info on any nearby spots to pump for yabbies.
My usual spots in PPB and Anglesea have been crap for a while.
Thanks

We do a slight detour to Warneet but you need close to low tide
Also we put a layer of the sand from there in the bottom of a foam esky which has a layer if plastic and add sea water and an aerator to keep the oxygen level good and keep them cool
We also change the water once a day with ocean water from Lakes entrance if fishing for more than one day

Is it now allowed to pump yabbies on Warneet?
