Unfortunately, we currently have a huge influx of people who are walking the area at low tide and cleaning out the shell fish and damaging the area. With them doing this it has scared all the fish off, you might get a flatty, but I haven't got anything off the jetty for ages.

You will be better to fish at Robertsons Beach - heaps of access on all tides and a lot better options for fish to catch. flatties, whiting, eps, bream etc.
if the river flow is too fast, walk around to the southern side, there's a great area there. You can walk along the sand flats with a soft plastic!
