Orbost / marlo

Heading down to orbost again this year for New Years I have some what of a clue this year about what to target just don’t have any good spots yet any advice from the locals about what’s been biting recently up there

my mate used to get some nice flatties there on bent minnows a few years back

Thanks mate was it just the pier in marlo or how did he get his because last year when I was there using a tiny live mullet I caught a tailor and I got some little things but then the seal showed up and just hung around the pier and the fishing went quite came back a couple days later and he was still hanging around any advice if that happens again?

there'll be plenty of stingrays, never seen bull sharks down there. I know they get caught occasionally out the front, i wouldn't worry too much about them.
Fish Frenches narrows.
theres a huge amount of water coming down this year and the closer you are to the entrance, better your chances of catching fish
There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

Would all the water pushing out effect the prawns? And any advice for prawning
