Re: KGW Gippsland Lakes
Tell them the latest Navionics chart app is the guide to Gippsland lakes fishing. It's all about banks and drop offs. They can thank me for spending 3years of fine weather driving a jetski to survey the entire lakes system.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Haha that’s awesome! That whole area you fished looks the goods.
What is the go with tidal flow in the lakes? I can’t seem to find tide times for anywhere other than lakes entrance and not sure if it flows hard like Westernport or not?

Re: KGW Gippsland Lakes
Metung is the last place with any real tidal flow here in Painesville we get more water height changes due to wind than tidal influence

Re: KGW Gippsland Lakes
SW wind, higher levels at lakes Entrance. Lower level Lake Wellington.
NE wind, Higher lake Wellington. Lower Lakes Entrance.
In Lake King and Lake Victoria if you are looking for flow over a bank, fish on the down wind side.

Bonzer report. Well done. Out of action for a few more days until parts arrive for the boat
