Still getting them but they are scattered around. Caught a few on the shallows Kalimna area today. You will need to put the time in at the moment. They are slow but still plenty. Just don't need to be on-top of each other. 2-3 mtrs in weedy areas
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

There are prawns around, but water is dirty. You would need to go on the flood Tide to get some clean water. Be worth a go

The Intel says they are getting prawns at lake tyers, just Infront of the waterwheel tavern. Bonus is if the prawns aren't there you can go to the tavern or have a meal and then go prawning. Tyers is still open and the water is clean. Fishing is good out there too. Salmon ,trevally and Taylor being caught at the entrance

A short session today 10 am till 1pm resulted in absolutely nothing - not even a bite! Tried the usual spots as far as Kalimna creek. Plenty of boats out and about but I didn't see much caught either (just 1 KGW opposite Kalimna jetty). Tide was ebbing so perhaps that was the problem. Used squid and a few pippies - but to no avail. And just to finish the day off lost $300 worth of Maui Jims over the side as I finished up - note to self do not put sunnies on top of cap! Almost went over the side after them but couldn't get out of the cockpit area quick enough. A few blank reports back at the Fort King ramp. Guess I need to get up & out a lot earlier and on an incoming tide. So salmon for T - albeit from Aldi !

KGWs were on the sand in front of coastguard lakes this morning.
