Hi all,
I haven't posted for a while, I have had commitments that have kept me off the water, but today I finally managed to get out for a fish, I launched at Paynesville at about 8.00am, and fished around Lady Bay, I got a feed of flatties (kept 2), and let one go because it was too big, about 58 cm? When they are going back I try not to stress them too much, just take a photo and let them go, no need for extra handling for accurate measurement, if they are around 55 cm just get them back in the water ASAP. Also plenty of tailer around, I call them the "Bill Shorten" fish because they tax you, I lost a couple of jig heads and went through packet of SP's. Got back to the ramp about 12.30 pm, all in all a good morning on the water.
Cheers
Ango.

Hey Ango, nice dusky.
Is lady bay on the other side of Newlands Arm before you hit duck arm?
Had a bit of success around there myself but don't know all the names of bays.

Yep, That's it, the fish move around, I have got them off Sperm Whale Head and in Newlands Arm too, you just need to keep on moving until you find where they are on the day, some times you find them sometimes not.
