Weather hasn't been the best. Was a short break in the wind, so went out with a mate in a 6mtr boat. Went east past lake Tyers. Plenty of gummies and a few flathead. Caught 6 gummies between us. Let 2 go.All nice size. 6 flathead to go with them. Back home by 11am.

Well done on the Gummies. Just a question.
I'm presuming you drift for them? Do you ever anchor and burley or is it too deep?

mostly anchor and burley. If we drift, we have a sea anchor to slow the drift to less than half a knt.

Went East again looking for gummies, but all we found was lizards. Good feed 👌. 18mts best depth. Looks like some decent weather for the next few days. Plenty of big snapper getting caught on the deeper reefs. Haven't bothered as I catch to eat and not into the big ones. Plenty of prawns in the lake too.
