A large dead whale drifted into the Snowy Estuary on this mornings high tide and drifted out again this afternoon on the runout. It was drifting down the coast in an easterly direction.
Depending on where and when it gets washed up on the beach there's a strong likelihood that there'll be an increase in shark activity, probably between Marlo and Cape Conran.
Just a heads up to the surf boys and/or swimmers to be a bit cautious.

Re: Dead Whale @ Snowy River
Update.
The whale has drifted back into the estuary on this mornings tide.
It is slowly drifting down to Frenches Narrows.
It'll be interesting to see if any toothies have followed it in.

Re: Dead Whale @ Snowy River
Sounds like it'd attract a lot of fish.
