This is a Yamashita Ika Shime

Just wondering how many of you guys use this?
It terminates the Squid very effectively and Quick.
Also improves the eating Quality i heard. and makes it much easier to handle the Squid .

How many quid are they going for? I like that they kill the squid fairly quickly. What happened to killing them greek style?(not what youur probably thinking)
Ive heard of greek commercial octopus fishermen who bite the occys between the eyes which looks similar to the video above.

Peninsula Total Tackle have them Jon, I think I have also seen them in BCF(not positive though) so they should be available at most good tackle stores.

Any hardware store, stocks flathead screwdrivers. I have one and it works just as well, besides they are heaps cheaper.

Even cheaper still is any old screwdriver.

Once you sever the nerve, they're done for. I just use a knife and stab them in the same location. Makes no difference to me.

Pen Total Tackle definitely has them. I didn't bother getting it as I saw it as a waste of money.
