Ggo to Squid jig

Post by Blue » Wed Oct 21, 2020 1:06 pm

A year or so back, a member posted a photo of an olive green jig with yellowish broad bands edged in black.
I asked where to get it and he kindly steered me onto one.It has served me well and yesty I lost it,bugger.
I searched the forum history on jigs but as I can,t remember name of jig or his name, I cannot pick it up.
I remember I thanked him and hoping this may jog his memory.
Keen to replace as it works for me when most other colours fail.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hey Blue, that's a tough one!
I had a quick look through older posts, is this what you're looking for?

You asked about an Asari Jig with the same description, like this? I just found these on ebay matching the brand and or description.

It's no worries Blue, we all have our favourite squid jigs!
An alternative may be another olive coloured jig if you can't find the same one, I've had success with this one by yamashita. Olive back with a rainbow foil and bands.

First to Andrew again, read your post again and went back to the discussion with daz999, you nailed it. Thanks again, I will chase up Compleat Angler Rosebud with the full description of the Asari jig. Thanks again.
To dazz999 you did post a photo at the time, perhaps if you can find it again other members may benefit.
If Rosebud can help me will let you all know.
Hopeful as it is worth the chase.
