Mt Martha
Decided to venture down to the rocks last night, to find some poacher in the spot I go "duel:
Anyway, got down there and settled, fished until 11pm, came home with 10 KGW (the poacher took home 3) and 2 squid for fresh bait over the weekend.
Some nice fat fish in the bag and a pleasent evening by the water.

Re: Mt Martha
Thought I could sneak in undetected. Catch a few and begone, before his lord and master arrived.
Even pumped some secret bait, arrived early thought I was undetected but shortly after arriving, I get sprung.
and no bloody fish.

Very slow tonight, I got 3 but they were a lot smaller than last night ~30cm. 2 pinkies and NO squid :whoh: tide was all cocked up tonight.

Re: Mt Martha
Hit the rocks with Wolly Bugger this morning, arrived at 5:30am, attempt to get some squid and then into the whiting.
Between us we got 6 squid, and 4 whiting 2 of which were throw backs. Very slow morning. Oh well, try again another day :water:

Re: Mt Martha
Had planned to get the tinnie wet, but that meant tossing out the old fuel, mixing up a fresh batch. Charging the battery.
I find it much simpler to do land based :water: most of the time, as the tinnie gets a tad uncomfortable, especially
when it is a little choppy.
So when Brett SMS me, decided to ditch the tinnie idea and go landbased, instead. At least there is no boat to wash down and unload when I get home. Besided the motor needs a bit of tlc at present.
