Snapper Fever at it's best!

What's the story, did they guy's rod get dragged in and he went in after it or is he a genius who has invented PFD fishing?

Apparently he didn't loosen the drag and over it went :sprint: I'm still trying to work out why he called for the net :lolf:

I was standing in that spot last night for more than three hours, SW wind up to 20 k's, and didn't even loose a bait,
Accually after so many fishless trips, looks like I'm gonna forget how a pinky looks like :wall:

I was going to go down the pier lastnight, but opted for the rocks instead. I was the only one there lol(at this spot anyway).
Dropped the biggest fish of my season :cry: then only managed 1pinkie and 1pj, got a heap of bites and a heap of hard hits, but dropped the bait as soon as there was pressure felt.
Might go down again this evening for another try :dontknow

Hey guys,
I was lucky enough to witness the whole thing. My mate was the one who recorded it
SFP guy, yeh he had the drag too tight and over it went
Brett, I fished that spot u did on the sunday with a heavy NE wind the week that happened and landed meself a 2kg snapper at 7am then nothing all day but the water did go dead flat at lunch time.
