Re: fee free
I agree Adrian.
Here in SA, fees range up to $15 and the sad thing is that most of the ramps aren't well maintained.
But, talking to a few Boaties here, all that I have spoken to, would not go more frequently because the Ramp Fees are free (as it is a small part of the overall cost of taking the boat out fishing), so beckons the thought of the idea that more Boaties would be going or even more often, in Victoria. BUT, the general consensus here is, that we Boaties pay heaps in many ways, we turn over the economy somewhat AND something back for us, as an appreciation or encouragement would be nice, instead of a money grabbing exercise at every turn.
So, way to go Ramp Fee people in Victoria.
Cheers, Bugs
