Mornington 9/10/12 Report

Post by anthony2510 » Tue Oct 09, 2012 6:46 am

Decent five hour session this morning before the hour long trip to start work. wacko
casting off mornington pier (had it all to myself also :Dribble: )
There was barely a whisper of wind which was surprising and the temp held at a comfortable level most of the morning!
I tried soft plastics and fresh bait.
unfortunately the only thing i caught was an hour long conversation from
a lovely old lady named Jane. roughly 75-80yo wandering on her lonesome at 2.30am! Obviously didnt watch the Jill Maegher case! Or is an insane street fighter for her age.
Few crabs floating around for anyone with a net. The rocks maybe?

Went to mornington last night for about 4 5 hours not even a nibble for me but did see a guy manage a 5 or 6 kg snapper when I first got there.
