hi again my grandad is taking me to flinders ive got some fresh squid

Cut small strips on small hook size 6 ish and fish on the pier 3rd pole down into the weeds, for some whiting.
Sometimes big flathead off the end of the pier aswell.

I go there mainly for squid.
Use size 3.0 jig head. Or use fresh whiting on a prong.

I caught a little salmon two flatties both undersized and tons of wrasse

Yup, its a bit like that over there.
The thick weed is good for squid and grass whiting etc. Usually people try to catch those grass whiting and use fresh as a bait on squid prong.

I use to catch lots of mackerels there at night, but I mainly target squid on that pier though.
