hastings fishing trip

me and my uncle are going to Hastings on Saturday after he's gotten some snow gear was wondering if anyone had been there recently or knows whats caught there this time of year? thank you in advance i read that in sand patches you can catch whiting and flathead but only been there twice once a guy was catching mullet and once there was tons of trevs caught but other than that haven't been there.

If your in a boat I would be heading out to target Squid.

nah we went of the jetty caught one toadie and that was it went to mornington a guy caught a seven gill a flathead that was 40 + cm

Great to see that you got out e and a toadie is at least a fish landed :thumbsup: . My Duaghter is the "puffer' queen , , , , she's happy to catch them all day long , , , , as long as Dad (me) takes them off the hook for her.

Nice that your Uncle took you out too :thumbsup:
