Was thinking of going to narring early Sat morning to try and bag a gumbo. :D. High tide is about 5.30ish from memory. I was just wandering if these times are suitable to be chasing gummies. Any advice would be great. Cheers... :grin:

Unless conditions change significantly, I wouldnt be going.

Also, Ive never caught a Gummy after 10pm. In saying that, I dont think it means a huge amount.

i Have only been to somers... is there much difference? I have been 100 meters from the somers yacht club and only ever caught flatty and goatfish

No it's not much different, same bottom/area. Somers is well known for good size gummies.

A few caught to 10kg from the beach a few weeks ago...
