A short vid series about scouting.

Post by DougieK » Wed May 27, 2015 2:51 pm

Hey Guys,

Before a great session at Gunnamatta on Monday I took the time to scout some ledges nearby. While i'd been there in the past in bad weather I hadn't actually walked the extent of the distance I wanted too or seen the ledges in low swell.

I made a short series of vids about what I was doing and what was going through my head as I was out there.

This is what happens when I have too much time on my hands, but hopefully gives some insight into how much work actually goes into even finding a new ledge to cast off.

Yes mate. One and the same.

It was halfway through run in so I dind't go down. Next time the swell is under a metre and I have a spare 3 hours i'll go back and see where it comes out. Using theory of creeks attracting fish it might be a freaking awesome place to fish after a big storm if you can get past the weeds.

Here you go dougie, I have time on my hands due to "tocoldtogofishing" syndrome... poodoo I think dougie may have to change his preferences in youtube to group share all vids or something?
