Fishing boat spot around carrum

Post by tbcha1 » Fri Nov 22, 2019 9:35 am

hi all,
We plan to head out this sunday morning for a fish. Friend just got a boat so we have no clue on where to go but found these marks that were shared in the past. Just wondering if these are still decent marks to fish at? any advice around this area would be appreciated
thanks!

Few fish have come from the outer artificial. There'll be a thousand others there this weekend though

@Cobby: I have a few places marked out from that website. Outer artificial was one of them. Was thinking maybe the mussel bed as well but being such a calm morning sunday im sure there be heaps of boats out there. Hopefully we find a decent spot thats not too crowded. Maybe hit some marks and head towards a few spots on the way to ricketts where i fished before on the yak

Didn't we have a tread on here a while back with all different GPS marks

I looked for it but can't find it.
Maybe someone else can or other threads with spots

didnt go well this morning. The boat has not been used for 4months and the owner realised he left some light or something on when we were setting it up to launch lol
so we went landbased squidding at portsea pier instead. Slight downground i think lol
3 really big squids were caught none by me. We saw another 3 big squid caught by others. Biggest squids ive seen pulled out landbase
