First time hitting Princes Pier

Hey guys, northerly tomorrow so planning on taking the tub out and flicking a few lures around the pylons. It’ll be my first time hitting that area, and I was planning on winging it 😂, but on second thought - if there’s any pointers that anyone could offer I’d really appreciated it!
What sort of lures, how to work the area etc, hopefully I can snag a fish or two!

Cheers!

Nothing special apart from the tricky situation that the fish will snag you, if you're not snagged while casting that is. Lol.
Otherwise, use the usual plastics everyone use.

Willy weather says north west 15kmh in the morning then turns to WSW.
Seabreeze is similar to fish ranger, WSW.

I was there last week. Fished from the pier late arvo and managed a couple of pinkies and a few salmon. Used squidgy flickbaits in pilly colour. Good luck 👍🏻

Slim swimz and 1/8 jig head will do the trick. Try outside the pylons too, pinkies salmon and flatty can be caught.
