Running sinker with big bait and big hook, fish low light with high tide and south wind.
Good luck :tu:
Hmm Snappers on Running really?. Snags?
Yup and nope.
There's small snaggy patch around the bend, otherwise I never got snagged there. Just wind fast when you retrieve so it wont get snagged on the rocks as you wind.
ok, what do you find you get most there?

Same with what lightning said, pinkie/snapper. Sometimes flathead. Salmon in winter. Caught the odd silver trevally once.
Popular place, on a nice day, it can be as crowded as Victoria Market. I've seen a whole family fishing there with BBQ kettle smoking sisha thing, folding table, etc. Lol.

Hey All,

Went down today, from 6-11:30 pm very quite amongst three of us were like 5-6 undersized pinkies. Ran double droppers paternosters, baits we're chicken, pilly , squid and pippie. Only thing they bit on was chicken.

Switched to running for last hour couple small bites nothing major.

Nice day however.

Same thing for keeferd last week except 6-9 and managed a 37cm pinkie and a big squid which fell off hook as bringing up (would've been a pb).

Regards, Lero

I have never personally fished Webb dock but a good friend of mind spends quiet a lot of time there. He has caught some belting winter snapper there, I'm talking in the 7-8kg range.
