The lure used was an Ecogear ZX40, amazing all round lure. All the carp went like trucks, great fun on light gear

Yep! For sure. But for some reason I think they tend to fight harder than common carp...

Never ceases to amaze me sometimes how we have to continually learn in fishing. Not exactly the lure I was expecting.
