Altona 21/10

Post by smokin_reels » Wed Oct 21, 2020 11:54 am

Launched down at Miller’s for the first time this season.
Heaps of kayaks/boats.

I was one of the few casting plastics.
Mostly everyone else sitting and staring at bait rods,

I didn’t find much on the sounder, that being said I steered clear of the multitude of burley trails and assorted lines.

Didn’t have a nibble all morning , but was good to get out.
More than likely that some of you from
Here were out there today. Any luck? :vy:

I was there just before for a run and saw the group of kayakers comming in. They all caught a snapper each ranging from 50cm - 67cm. Looks promising this season

I went to port melb, writing a quick report soon.
Agree, such a nice morning to be out, especially after such a long lockdown.

Good to hear mate 😃
I’m out again second time this week, just the 1 squid and the wind has now changed so using the freshly caught squid as bait for snapper.
Cheers 👍🏻
