FB_IMG_1637668243825.jpgAnchored around 1930 long reef 3.9 meters
Biggest snapper went 50cm
What do you do with the salmon?, they must be 60cm long, do you use them for bait because at that size they taste horrible, actually, at any size. Nice catch by the way
Bingo, might salt some for land base fishing.
Rest try n catch a gummy on or reds.
Yeah they taste crap ..
I imagine a nice big fillet off one of those would be very tempting to a Gummy or 2, those Salmon would have fought like a freight train
Fishing 3.5 meters , frigging salmon took off like no tomorrow ..
I was using salmon fillets after dark on that session, gotten bitten 3 times .... Some big fish around

Have you tried using just the heads?
I would use the heads on one rod with a squirt of tuna oil in it's gills

Smashed it bowl!
I’ve caught plenty of kgw around there in the past.
It’s definitely a hot spot for them!
Cheers 👍🏻

Best thing about it is your lucky to see 2 or 3 boats anywhere from wedge to long reef .
