Free swimming mulloway

Post by mazman » Mon Dec 16, 2019 5:54 pm

Hey guys,

Went out for a bream fish after exams and managed to land 9 but the highlight of the trip was watching a large mulloway free swimming around a pontoon. Hope you enjoy

Nice one.
You finished the exam 9am, what time did you fish? What was the tide?
Bummer about that last fish. Risky cast.

You should have dropped a small bream in front of it. :-)

Exam started at 9, pretty sure I was launching around 1 and retrieving at about 6. low tide was somewhere around the middle of that, didn't actually check the tides or anything just went fishing because I was done with uni

Well done on finishing uni Alex. Watching your videos I like how you cast as tight as possible towards structure or areas holding fish.

Thanks RB. Gotta be right in there to get the bite, especially in some of the more pressured waterways

That’s a great session Alex!
Enjoyed the vid mate. I couldn’t see the mulloway very well. How big do you think it would have been? :)
Cheers :tu:

Thanks LX, it was around the metre mark and was super cool to see up close. Unfortunately the gopro doesn't catch it as well as I could see it
