I have been interested in bowfishing after seeing it online. It would be a great carp culling method in the warmer months when they are sipping insects off the surface.

Where can you get fishingbows in Aus?

For clarity yes I know it’s illegal in vic inland waters.

I often hunt carp with the bow in the spring when the big girls are in shallows spawning in back waters it's alot of fun I recently got a 7kg carp full of eggs as it's legal in nsw there is no mistaking a carp and if unsure be smart and dont shoot we dont need an excuse to get it taken away. Its a great cull mission with up to 15+ i just freeze what i get so my brother in law has crab bait no waste and so much fun and great for kids to have a crack at it and get amongst it all they aren't a silly as they look
