Docklands 29/10/21
A mate and I headed out for a session at Docklands yesterday in the aftermath of Thursday night's storm, fishing from 3pm - 10:15pm. As expected, the water was fairly discoloured and there was a lot of rubbish washed up on the rocks behind Marvel Stadium. The going was slow but there were bites here and there to keep us interested despite the dark sky and showers, and a couple of hours later while I was daydreaming in the evening sun my rod went off. A few jinking runs that peeled line off my reel indicated that I was on to something reasonable and to our surprise, I landed this bream which measured in at 38cm. This fish is a PB bream for me, and was caught on a frozen prawn that had been sitting in my freezer since before Lockdown 6.0. Have a good long weekend folks, get out there if you can.
