Hi all,
I've been using the cranka crabs to great success on the bream, however, they're simply too expensive to keep buying after being snapped off or snagged. What are some plastics that are good for bream?

Thanks

Gulp nereis 2.5 camo , newpenny , zman grubz 2" in bloodworm and zman bugz all work very well for me .

Zman grub 2in both bloodworm and motor oil have been working well for me. Sx40 suspending is also good, but they're not as cheap as plastics ofc.

Alternative to cranka crabs are metal blade vibes, at around $1-$2 each or even cheaper in bulk. Brand doesn't matter, just buy the cheapest ones off eBay.

Downside is they only really work if the bream are feeding off the bottom, but you can still tempt fish next to pylons to swim down. If that falls then switch over to zman grubs or gulp grubs.

if you fish cranka crabs predominantly, then the gulp crabby is probably the best alternative!!

Do you guys experience using segmented lures for bream fishing? Planning to buy one, any tips?
