Good morning everyone, I'm new to this site and after spending an hour or so this morning reading a lot of previous forums, I thought I would say g'day and ask anyone out there where I can take a 7 year old for a fish today around parkdale. Sunny with wind increasing as the day goes on. Thanks

Gday mate, and welcome to our happy site...I've no idea about fishing around that area, but as soon as some of our sleepy heads are up, I'm sure you'll find some answers..

Hey mate. Welcome to the site. You could try mordialloc pier . Or take a short drive to patterson river. Will be abit more protected from the wind.

If you can get your 7 year old out of bed, have a go bouncing soft plastics along the gutters just after sunrise anywhere from mordi to the patterson river. Flathead love it!

And yes, a 7 year old can do it as well

Its been a while to get back to answer your question :-D

Near Parkdale Yaht Club, a small pier like pavement, try from there or from shore. People get Snappy quite lot

Goodluck!!!
