That's not good to hear I was sort of hoping it wouldn't be so punishing on the lead :down:fishingvic wrote:It's very snaggy around the two new groynes.

Re: Hampton Rock Groynes
Hampton groynes. Some guys been bagging out on the pinkies the last few days sun rise and sun set .
And yes losing plenty of sinkers.Squid have also shown themselves A few guys also bagging out.
Middle groyne seems the best( bottom Holyrood and new street)At railway crossing.
The other groynes also productive but slower than middle groyne.
Gars have been off and on.

Re: Hampton Rock Groynes
I agree mate one of the best local land based spots I know for pinkies and often big chunky ones I have bagged out from there many times. The main one is way too crowded these days so I usually fish from the smaller one and it's just as good just have to know where to castJohand wrote:Hampton groyns. Some guys been bagging out on the pinkies the last few days sun rise and sun set .

Re: Hampton Rock Groynes
The origin of the word 'groyne' can be traced back to the latin word 'grunnire' meaning 'to grunt'.
