Just sharing a reminder that ALDI's Ski Gear sale starts on Saturday 20 May 2023.

Speaking from experience I've been using their Adult Softshell Pants since picking up a pair in 2020, and they're incredible. You can take off the straps.
They're breathable, wind-blocking with a fleece lining and have a mesh vent zip on either leg. Great for cold, windy days - in the rain since they're softshell they're prone to soaking up the water. Priced at $49.99, expect me to grab another pair next weekend.
