I love the Pro Angler, but if I had my time again, I’d get a compass instead.

Are you both getting new yaks Sebb, or focusing to another fishing platform?
The compass is lighter and simpler. For a quick fishing, it's good, not a lot of storage though. PA is good for full on fishing, but yeah, heavier, need trailer etc. I know few people moved on from PA and bought compass.

This spring and summer we'll be mostly focusing on river trout on fly and BFS.
Potentially looking for Hobie Lynx next year. Something light and simpler.

Spread the words about the compass. It's open for reasonable negotiation too. I reckon it'll be sold closer to AFL final, or few days after that. No footy, warmer weather, snapper season, people be out and about.
No trips focusing on Yellowtail Kingfish?
Starting to give it up.
Summer over summer, trips over trips, landbased, kayak, charter... Nil, nada, zilch, zero, none.
Sometimes a man needs to know when to give up.
Maybe one day I'll get the feeling back and hopefully luckier.
Focus on something else for a bit, even if it's a fish you have caught before, try for a bigger model on lighter outfits or a different style of lure etc. Once your done then try again for the kingies.
They are not the easiest to catch, but if your willing to travel then your chances of getting one are definitely better. I've spent a lot of time and money chasing them for very little results...

Yep, the PA is excellent on the water, not so much when it’s off the water! I roof topped it a few times when I had a Rav4, but only trailer it now.

Fly fishing the clearwater streams is a great option for when you don’t have the kayak. I tend to head to the streams when the bay is too windy for the kayak.

Good luck with the sale

Not sure how much time I will have over summer but would be happy to help you get one if the worlds align...

Neither do I, unsure how much time I will have fishing this summer. Have family planning etc going on too.

All the best on the family planning mate I’ll be doing a bit of that myself.
