Hey guys, a bit of a newbie fishing Westernport by boat instead of land-based. Just wondering whereabouts there is to get some fresh bait for gummies. Found a snapper spot but couldn’t land any decent gummy bait. Have a 5.4m 115hp and whereabouts should I stay away from until I get the hours up.

Buy a bag of pillies and a box squid.
If you can’t catch bait you might struggle catching a gummy.
Just go fishing
