Posting photo's

Post by Wolly Bugger » Mon Sep 16, 2013 4:03 pm

Seeing a few people are having difficulty in posting photo's, although I am no expert this is what I found works for me.

Firstly upload the photo's from your camera or phone, to your documents area on the computer.

Secondly with Window's you can use the Paint programme to resize your photos, so that they are not too large a file. I then save the altered photo by adding an 'a' after the number or name.

The next step is when you are ready to add the photo, scroll down to the bottom of the page when you are adding your comments,

You will see a heading "Upload attachments"

Click on "Choose file"

This will open a browsing window for you to locate the picture file that you wish to add. This can be a pain sometimes unless you saved that file in a location that is easy to find.

Finally do not forget to click on "add file".

Hope this helps

In regards to down sizing photo's, I found that the photo's from my phone are too large and if added to the file this problem occurs

I will add one to show you.

I just found out that Apple down sizes the photo.

I think Jon put a restriction on the file sizes....however, if a photo was posted using mobile phone, it gets through no matter how big it is.

Okay you don't need to downsize your photo's any more. A while ago the photo's use to take up a lot of space exceeding the size of the screen.

There is an ap called (reduce photo size)on Android.
It is very easy to use and free every one should check it out.
I used to have major problems downloading photos but no longer.
Try to keep up with the fishing.

Another option is to email it to yourself. When emailed Apple gives you the option to reduce photo size to Small, Medium, Large or keep it at original. This way you can open up a desktop/laptop computer, log into your email and download it to a location of your choice.

Another option to reduce the file size of images is to use a site such as this one.
