$1,345 bamboo rod
What do you think?
Reckon there's people out there with too much spare money and be like "sure, I'll get that bamboo squid rod to catch squid, also coz it's pretty and make a good decoration on the wall"

My Zenaq is a stunning rod and I'd believe these are nice to use too, definitely something for someone who has too much money though

Yeah, at least it'll be functional. Unlike this Hermés rod. Unsure if it's useable.

Re: $1,345 bamboo rod
most i have spent on a rod is $100
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Re: $1,345 bamboo rod
I'm sure it's a beautiful-handcrafted rod, but I personally wouldn't pay anything close to that for a rod!

Re: $1,345 bamboo rod
Theres a good market for artisan bamboo fly rods so I'm sure there's people who will want this too. Personally I don't want to spend quite that much on a rod but can definitely see the appeal to some

Re: $1,345 bamboo rod
My first fishing rod was home made by myself andy brother, made out of bamboo and tie a mono on the tip.

Re: $1,345 bamboo rod
yes same.
we cut the bamboo ourselves, dried it and oiled it with coconut oil and tied a bit of mono line on it
and used a stone or whatever we could find that was suitable (bolt, washer, nut etc) for a sinker, hahaha the good old days...
