Bloody rain
If this was 15 years ago when we had the draught, I'd be happy.
But darn it, rain rain and more rain. Making it harder to go out.
Take care today and tomorrow, flood warning everywhere.

Re: Bloody rain
yeah, my house is 15 metres from a tributary of the honeysuckle creek, it was super high this morning, hopefully I don't get flooded out before I get home.

Re: Bloody rain
It's been the same down here in Tassie as well Sebb, way to many rainy days, forecast for Sheffield is for 200 mm from late this afternoon, flood warnings are out as well. The rivers haven't really had a chance to drop to safe wading levels for ages, I've really had to pick and choose which is the safest areas to fish since the trout season opened in August.. Like you mate & many others, I've had a guts full of the rain..
cheers
Adrian

Yeah it can be dangerous to wade high and fast water.
Take care Adrian. No fish is worth a life.

Re: Bloody rain
I fished the port melbourne area for pinkies on monday morning.
Was real filthy around princess, i headed down to the williamstown area to find some clearer water.
I ended up finding the colour change , fished the dirty water line. there were pinkies stacked up and throwing up bait on every cast.
Was pretty cool to fish the dirty water line in such a big system, something I hadnt done before.
Interesting to see how the washing machine of currents and tides runs kinda clockwise, pushes all the dirty water down towards st kilda and beyond, leaving williamstown and altona relatively clean

There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

Re: Bloody rain
I'd assume construction sites be in suspense?
Terrible weather to work in construction sites.
