See a few nearly drown, divers being snagged on lines, and once I picked up a $20 note that floated by with a squid jig.
Also caught a few jigs squidding, and even l a near new Emeraldas soft case that someone dropped in the water last week during the night.

Spend long enough on a pier and you’ll see it all.

lol, you mean those shirts they all wear? It's like they have to get dressed up to go fishing. The best is the buffs that they were when it's 35 celsius

Ive seen a drunk electric scooter rider fly off the pier while I was fishing.
Had to go and rescue the dumb dumb. then had to call the ambulance cause she was shaking like a leaf after being drenched.
She couldn't call for any help as the phone and wallets etc was all somewhere in the drink.

Knife being pulled on another fisho.

Had 3 dogs follow me on a beach at 3 in the morning, growling and ready to attack, lucky they didn't. I had to walk backwards so I could maintain eye contact with them. Only thing I had was a bait knife to protect myself lol.

And the usual ramp fights..
Dayumnnn sounds like something that off a movie

On the topic of peoples special fishing outfits I once saw a bloke in a boat anchored near me with a Tyvek suit. Makes sense throw it in the bin once done with no fishy clothes to wash.

A couple of times driving my boat in PPB after dark I have encountered bioluminescent algae which has a strong yellow/green glow as you drive through it which was pretty freaky.

I've encountered something similar fishing off a surf beach at night and saw bright blue glowing algae appear on the surface of the water as waves crashed, looks super cool. I tried to pick them up but thier glow dies off like I killed it or something.

We had the same thing coming back into Bermagui after dark once - the boat's wake was looking like it was electrified. Very pretty!
