Re: Offshore Wind Farms
I was in the UK and passed through a large wind farm - the amount of noise was something I did not expect. Offshore is a way of avoiding this problem.

Re: Offshore Wind Farms
Diversifying the energy is always a smart investment, we've seen in the recent past the challenges of over dependency on a single fuel type during both summer and winter periods.
Tidal power is one that is often overlooked, we got plenty of tidal areas that could be utilised.

Re: Offshore Wind Farms
I greatly oppose onshore wind farms, they kill so many eagles yet the greenies say the turbines are better than the other options when they kill the eagles that are 1- protected in Australia, and 2- 8000 eagles alone, not counting other sea birds, die to wind turbine every year.

Re: Offshore Wind Farms
They will make the offshore wind farms a no boating area so if you fish offshore a large area will be locked up.
