fishing report

went to the arboretum dam in Euroa a few days ago, seeing what i could catch. set up my rod (normal Carolina rig with a light sinker and some corn as bait) and chucked it around some reeds as i had had good bites around those reeds. i was flicking some soft plastics on my new shimano catana and the bait rod buckled ! i had the drag low and it was screaming out! tightened the drag and couldn't figure out what was on the end of my line until i pulled in a 43 cm yella ! released it and fished for another few hours and caught a trout that was 34 cm and a silver that was 19 cm. good day in all also the trout was on a spinner i was fishing.

my hearts pounding just writing this report lol!
