They definitely wouldn't be my first pick of fish, but they're a solid food source, or fertiliser.

Definitely can eat carp, but there's a lot of preparation to make it nice.
We're lucky that there are other better species here to eat (and easier to prep) than carp. Don't have to do a lot to make (and eat), e.g. flatties, nice to eat.

Personally I just can't be bothered prepping carp. As Robbie said in the video, it stinks. Mrs wouldn't like stinky kitchen.

Carp caught in tropical areas are not slimy as the ones here. Carp here stinks like hell.

There is an organ you need to remove before cooking carp. Done right, the smell disappears.

haha! It's all organic compost at the end of the day, maybe mask the carp smell with manure.

Or you could bury it deep enough that the smell doesn't escape?
