Hi all. I was thinking of going offshore from Lakes but note the notice to mariners that "Mariners are advised that following the recent severe weather event environmental conditions have caused the TSHD Tommy Norton to abort dredging operations temporarily." and the webcams are down "Due to technical issues with our Internet connections at Lakes Entrance the webcam performance is affected and may not display after buffering. The issue is being investigated by our service provider to resolve as soon as possible. Gippsland Ports apologises to users of the webcam service for this untimely issue."
What's the bar like ATM, should I abort the trip?
Cheers
Ango.

Re: Lakes entrance bar
Bar is calm at the moment. Flood tide 4am to 10 am. Many boats out
Weather sounds good for Easter. The dredge has been working every day since last Sunday. Not sure on the progress of removing the sand from last week's storm.

There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
